The Maternity Experience

My maternity sessions are relaxed and gently guided, giving you the confidence of knowing what to do while leaving room for natural moments to unfold. Whether we're in the studio or outdoors, my goal is to create photographs that feel timeless, genuine, and full of connection.

I photograph maternity sessions throughout Guelph, Cambridge, Puslinch, and the surrounding Waterloo Region, creating timeless images that celebrate the beauty of this incredible season.

Pregnancy is filled with so much anticipation. It is the quiet moments before everything changes, the excitement of imagining who your little one will be, and the deep love that is already growing long before you meet them. It is a chapter that deserves to be remembered.

My maternity sessions are relaxed, comfortable, and focused on genuine connection. You don't need to worry about knowing how to pose or looking perfect. I'll gently guide you every step of the way so you can simply enjoy the experience while we create beautiful, heartfelt images together.

The result is a gallery that tells the beginning of your family's story and preserves the excitement, love, and anticipation of meeting your baby.

2. Maternity Session


Let's plan your session. A few weeks before your session I will send you a little style guide so that you can make some choices as to what to wear. I also have access to a small client closet which contains some beautiful dresses for mom and some sweet little clothing items for your children. 
At this time we will also discuss the location of your session. I have a few locations I love to use but If there is a special place you would like to go we can to including my own outdoor studio on our property (depending on the lighting available). I always think it makes a session more meaningful if we can use a location with personal significance.

Really truly, ask me anything. I am here to make your dream session a reality! I am here to help! From what to wear, what do we do it my toddler doesn't cooperate to the type of shoes you should wear. Please feel free to email me any time.


4. Let's shoot

We will get together at our chosen location and have so much fun! I will warn you that I can talk a lot and I can get a little carried away. I will probably tell you a million times " just one more shot" but its just so hard to stop when you're having fun. 

We will laugh and chat. You will snuggle, giggle, dream and play. I will really try to get to know the real you and have this shine in your images.

I cannot wait for you to love your images every single day. In order to do this I truly believe in printing your photos so they will hang on your wall. I want you to be able to walk by the every day and gasp. I want you do stop and stare at them every single day as they hang on your wall, large and in charge. These are your memories and I want you to remember them each and everyday. 

Yes, digital images are super amazing too and I also offer those. But there is something so special about an album you can flip through with your family or wall art that you can look at each day.

Mini maternity Add-ons (when added to a newborn session) from $300

Celebrate and document your pregnancy journey with beautiful images to look back on a reminisce with your child. 

I have a variety of maternity portrait collections for you to choose from. Maternity collections include both digital images and artwork credits so that you can display your beautiful images in your home.

A non-refundable retainer secures your date and time on my calendar. This amount will be deducted from the collection you choose after your session is complete.

What an incredible experience. I had the privilege of having Chelsey do our maternity photos in her studio and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I was a bit nervous that I wouldn't know what to do or how to pose, but Chelsey made me feel so confident and comfortable as soon as I walked into the studio.
