Who Is Skin Studio Co., (A little Q and A With The Owner) and Their Philosophy
I started Skin Studio Beauty Co., Guelph out of a desire to do and be something more than “just an Esthetician”. It felt like I was put in a box as a girl who went to beauty school so I could paint nails and put creams on people’s faces in the back room of a hair salon. I knew I wasn’t living up to my own potential and I knew I wasn’t giving to my clients everything that I knew I had to offer either.
Branching off on my own in 2014, I vowed to never paint another nail again and began my journey as a skin therapist. I also vowed to take good care of my clients and create systems in my business that would make making self-care easy for them to incorporate into their lives. I wanted to create a space where people felt safe, welcome, and truly cared for. We all know what it feels like to walk in somewhere and instantly feel like you’re not good enough, not pretty enough, not smart enough, or not rich enough to be there. I wanted to build relationships, not a client list. I wanted people to feel like they were visiting their BFF… who also happens to be an excellent host! 😉
