The summer is quickly approaching! Like really fast! Faster than you actually think it is approaching. We are basically at the end of May and that only leaves us with one full month before we are in full summer mode. I totally can’t believe it! It might be hard to find space but there is still hope. I have compiled a list of some Guelph Summer Camps that are totally worth checking out!
Where: Guelph University
Programs start at Only $249 a week. They have so many camps to choose for children aged 5-16 Recreational camps and a variety of sports development camps will surely keep your kids busy, active and inspired! Check them out here: Guelph Gryphon Summer Camps

Rainbow day camp http://www.rainbowdaycamp.com One of my personal favourites since this camp has personal fond memories from my own childhood. They currently have spaces in August still! This camp is committed to playing, participating, mastering, and making friends. It is a camp that never disappoints! I highly recommend checking it out and it may we worth it to join the wait list.
Where: multiple locations available in Guelph and surrounding areas. https://www.ymcacambridgekw.ca/en/camp-outdoor-centre/Index.asp?gclid=Cj0KCQjwhLKUBhDiARIsAMaTLnEnqchzvyYJoKTxjeZ3HPXF4HEIFhrYycJAlzgw-Wnd7lY7XidOVNEaAuEeEALw_wcB
At the YMCA they have both day camp and over night camp experiences. Whichever stage your little camper is at I am sure they will have something fun and engaging for them to do. Personally, my son joined a YMCA camp a few years ago and still cannot stop talking about it to this day.
Where: 199 Victoria Road, Guelph
The Grotto is an awesome place to get all that summer energy out! Kids have the option of joining an indoor session or an outdoor session. Programs are available for children in kindergarten to grade 8 and are available as half-day or full-day programs. This is one of the only camps I have found that have that option! Pretty cool! Prices are 315 for full days and 151 dollars for half days. Spaces are still available!
Where: Trinity United Church, 400 Stevenson St. N.
For those of you that might have arty or dramatically inclined children, you simply must check out Great Big Theatre Company! They have acting programs for children 6-12 years of age and are so much fun! Fees for the camp are between 160 and 280 dollars which is totally reasonable for the programing the kids will experience in exchange. Also as a bonus, you can get 60 percent off if you join for multiple weeks. Please click the link to see if there is space still available
There are so many Guelph summer camps to check out! Guelphites are really so lucky to have so many amazing camps in the area. I could probably write a never-ending list of awesome programs to check out! At this point in the spring, I wanted to provide you with some options that had space! But next year, I will create a larger list of amazing options!
Most importantly,
Enjoy the summer with your beautiful children! Even if you can’t find a camp to get them into, you will surely make amazing memories with simple park dates and strolls around the block! You might also consider capturing these memories with a beautiful photography session. I always do this with my family and it really helps to encapsulate our memories of the summer! https://chelseykaephotography.com/family
Happy Tuesday!
